We are looking for applications from enthusiastic, well qualified, potential associate teachers who have a passion for their subject.
Schools Involved in the Altius Alliance
CHHS is a cohort 2 Teaching School with an outstanding reputation. Initial Teacher Training has traditionally been a strength of the school. It is the lead school of an alliance of schools within Greater Manchester working in many different contexts.
It is intended that SCITT Associate Teachers will have the opportunity to train at CHHS and across the Altius Alliance. This comprises :
Sixth Form Colleges
Pupil Referral Units
Special Educational Needs
Why choose us?
SCITT Associate Teachers who successfully complete their training may be employed in any school within the wider alliance. There can, however, be no guarantee of employment because of circumstances that may exist in schools, CHHS will be expected to support you in securing employment. Associate Teachers would be required to go through a full and formal application process for any vacancies.
